Dr Pradeep Makan has been my spinal surgeon over at least 15 years.  I have a degenerative condition and this has necessitated about 5 spinal surgeries.

Dr Makan is the humblest, most meticulous and conservative specialist in his field.  I had to beg him to do my final (hopefully!!) surgery in 2023.  At that time  I was bent over a walker.

After a long and arduous surgery and recovery, where he was beside me every step of the way, I am walking independently and straight up.  Truly a MIRACLE for me, as my lifestyle was so negatively impacted.

I can not praise Dr Makan highly enough.  His caring went above and beyond any expectation.  He was prepared to answer all questions no matter how trivial, by email or in person, and to explain all the processes both before and after my operation.  Having spinal surgery is a major undertaking.  Dr Makan advised trying other steps first which was much appreciated.  Once one accepts that surgery is necessary, and follows guidelines, the outcome can be good.  I am delighted to be back to walking on the beach after a little under three months. Thank you Dr Makan. Had a frozen shoulder and he sorted in out in a tic with a cortizone injection.  Im very afraid of needles but i promise i felt absolutely nothing. Thank you so much Dr P Makan and team, on such a short notice Doctor was able to assist me with the severe pain that I was enduring on my lower back and left leg. Doctor did an outstanding operation technique on my lower back, that it is not even noticeable (Tattoo lol) and pain free. I would highly recommend Dr P Makan to anyone that has the same condition.
